Farmer’s Mailbox nominated for the AIRR’s ‘Member of the Year 21’ award for Victoria.
Every year AIRR announce their award-winning members. The AIRR award recognises members who have had an incredibly successful year through their hard work and commitment to their customers. The awards are based on a number of considerations; growth, embracing of the AIRR culture and loyalty. As the AIRR group and so many of its members are flourishing, to be nominated shows that the Farmer’s Mailbox has had a terrific year, to win is something special. The winning stores will be announced later this year.
Despite the impact of the bushfires and COVID over 2020, the Farmer’s Mailbox experienced significant growth due to innovation, expanding its range of products and providing customers with a fast and efficient purchasing experience.
In recognition of their strong performance and growth over the last, the Farmer’s Mailbox has been nominated for the AIRR’s ‘Member of the Year 21’ award. Peter Law, AIRR Managing Director, comments, “The Farmers Mailbox are a determined and strong group of people who have managed to diversify and grow their business in an ever-changing landscape. Goes to show how special this nomination is for The Farmers Mailbox, for an award that celebrates growth and innovation and how they service the community”.
“The Farmers Mailbox’s peers will be looking to them for inspiration and ideas on how they can innovate and improve their own businesses. They build them tough in the country because Rural can be a tough game – but it is how you respond, manoeuvre and overcome what comes your way that makes all the difference. Independent retailers such as The Farmers Mailbox play an important role for their customers and their communities, and it gives us great pleasure to acknowledge those that are doing such a fine job”.
