Permatrace Selenium Pellets for SheepSelenium deficiency in sheep may give rise to: White muscle disease or nutritional muscular dystrophy in lambs. Poor growth rate in lambs. Periodontal disease (weak teeth) in adult sheep. Diminished wool growth. INSTRUCTIONS:To be effective the pellet must be swallowed. It is recommended that pellets be administered using the Sheep Pellet Applicator. It is important to carefully read the applicator use instruction leaflet enclosed in container before use. It is recommended that a steel grinder be administered when treating sheep with the combination of PERMATRACE pellets outlined in the table below. This will keep the surface of the selenium pellet clean and active by preventing a coating building up on the surface of the pellet.Dosage: Sheep dose: One selenium pellet as soon as convenient after 8 weeks of age. One pellet is effective for 3 years. Repeat dosing should be carried out under veterinary advice.
