The replaceable blades are specially hardened for long life and are coated with Xylan to increase hygiene and prevent rust.
The handles are aluminum alloy for lightweight, but giving maximum strength.
The handles are also shaped to fit the hand and angledfor direct access to the cut.
A rubber cushion stop prevents jarring the wrist and a simple thumb safety catch can be operated with one hand only to keep the shear shut when not in use.
